New Berlin Board Reorganizes, Approves Capital Transfers

NY NEW BERLIN — New Berlin Town Board concludes annual reorganization and authorizes nearly $80,000 in capital transfers. The five-member board unanimously passed nine reorganizational resolutions, including authorization to hire a town attorney and establishment of monthly board meetings as formal governance schedule. During the regular session, the board appointed Tony Christian as Highway Foreman and Matt Crippen as Buildings and Grounds Foreman at $1.00 per hour additional pay each, approved purchase of a $6,000 trailer from Doug Rifanburg with Supervisor Wendy Rifanburg abstaining, and authorized approximately $79,500 in budget transfers for dam inspection, police equipment, and a $58,000 paver purchase from Yacano.
